NARRATORS

This group of paintings/ drawings were organized loosely -- they were finished during the period of my residency programs in Japan or shortly thereafter -- themes were different, but I felt during painting, I was trying to pull out their wavering “stories” behind the subjects; and in turn, they were narrating my stories as well. I cannot tell who is the narrator of whom.
